Meditation for self healing

Sit comfortably and inhale deeply a few times

Close your eyes

Imagine all stresses of the day leaving you

Now Breathe deeply holding each breathe for a count of ten then exhale slowly

Now imagine your heart – imagine it beautiful and beating rhythmically

Then see a shaft of light from the sun going into your heart

Send any negative feelings or conditions into the heart and ask them to be released from your heart towards the sun.

Feel the warm shaft of light you receive going into your heart - uplifting and filling you full of joy and love

When all negative feelings have left you feel the positive healing rays of the sun filling every cell in your whole body

If you have a particular place that needs healing focus the light and warmth on that spot and imagine it getting warmer and warmer.

If you are in need of emotional uplifting let the rays rest in your heart for a while longer

Sit with this feeling of peace and warmth for as long as you wish then when you are ready say thank you and ask the meditation to stop

Consider how different you now feel to when you started the meditation.
